This Refund Policy applies to subscriptions purchased directly on isar-global.org. It should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions.

1. Digital Content — Consumer Rights Act 2015

ISAR Global subscriptions provide access to digital content. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, where a fault exists with digital content we will provide a repair or replacement. If a remedy is not possible, you may be entitled to a price reduction or refund.

Please note: if you are purchasing as a business rather than as an individual consumer, statutory consumer protections may not apply in full. Our voluntary policy below applies to all subscribers regardless of this distinction.

2. Right to Cancel — New Subscriptions

If you are a consumer (an individual purchasing for personal, non-business use), you have the right to cancel a new subscription within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Important: If you begin accessing subscriber-only content before the 14-day cancellation period has expired, you acknowledge that we have begun supplying the digital service at your request. In this case, you may lose your right to cancel under the Regulations, although we retain discretion to process refunds as described below.

To exercise a statutory right to cancel, contact us within 14 days of purchase at directorate@isar-global.org with the subject line “Subscription Cancellation”. We will process any refund due within 14 days of receiving your request, using the same payment method as the original transaction.

3. Our Voluntary Refund Policy

Beyond statutory rights, we operate the following goodwill policy:

Within 7 days of a billing date: If you contact us within 7 days of a subscription charge (initial or renewal) and have not made substantial use of subscriber content in that billing period, we will offer a full refund of that charge at our discretion.

Technical issues: If a demonstrable technical fault prevented you from accessing subscriber content for a material period during your billing cycle, we will offer a pro-rata credit or refund for the affected period.

Annual subscriptions: Subscribers on annual plans who wish to cancel after the initial 14-day period will not ordinarily receive a refund for the unused portion of their term. However, we will consider refund requests on their individual merits, particularly where exceptional circumstances apply. Please contact us to discuss.

4. What We Do Not Refund

We do not ordinarily issue refunds in the following circumstances:

  • You have cancelled mid-period and wish to receive a pro-rata refund for the remaining days of a monthly subscription;
  • You no longer wish to use the service but have continued to access content during the billing period;
  • You disagree with the editorial position or analytical conclusions of any content;
  • Your access was suspended or terminated due to a breach of our Terms and Conditions.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email directorate@isar-global.org with:

  • the email address associated with your account;
  • the date of the charge in question;
  • a brief description of your reason for requesting a refund.

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days via the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your card issuer or bank.

6. Questions

If you have questions about this policy or a specific transaction, please contact us at directorate@isar-global.org. We aim to resolve all issues promptly and fairly.
